It was a victory that was a full year in the making for the Morden Mohawks. On Sunday, Aug. 12, the Border Baseball League representative defeated the Hamiota Red Sox 2-1 in the final of the Provincial Senior “AA” Baseball Championship in Neepawa.

Yes, it is amazing how dumb some of today’s politicians can be. Seems that the mayor of Victoria, B.C. took it upon herself to get all upset about a statue of Canada’s first prime minster, Sir John. A. Macdonald.
