May 27,1938
A.T. Barber, 80, the only man who knew the value of the contents of the Windsor Castle the royal residence, died recently at Hove, England. Queen Victoria commissioned him 40 years ago to evaluate contents of the castle, which included gold plate, works of art, antiques and china. Mr. Barber, an antiques dealer, who formerly was mayor of Windsor, promised the Queen he would never divulge the findings.

Mayor Adrian de Groot informed Neepawa Town Council he was meeting with Dr. Brock Wright, head of Shared Health Services for the province on June 1.

Rhubarb is one of the few plants you can put in and forget about. It seems unaffected by drought, bugs or blights. My hardy rhubarb is up and will soon be ready to eat. It is one of the first treats from the garden. To help you with your rhubarb I will share these rhubarb recipes with you.
