Pierre Poilievre won the leadership contest in overwhelming fashion. He won 330 of the 338 seats across Canada. He won 70 per cent of the popular vote. His outstanding win shows that the Conservative party of Canada is very much ready for a change in how we do government.

A century old home in Neepawa is nothing more than a memory today, after an afternoon fire destroyed the structure. Just before 2:00 p.m., Neepawa Fire Department received a call of a blaze that had broken out inside a building on Mill Street.

It's back to school time for students in Neepawa and surrounding area. As well, a candidate has declared for the PC Party hoping to replace Eileen Clarke as MLA in the Agassiz riding.

I believe the column title above was also the title of a junior high English workbook. Words are important and words are used to articulate opinions. Opinions are important and everyone has some. Opinions are like noses, everyone has one.

It’s very important that all opinions be heard and not suppressed. There are opinions we won’t like and that’s fine. There are opinions that I hold that some people don’t like and that’s fine, too. I will defend their right to their opinion, all I ask is that they do the same in return.

Following are some defined opinions, some I agree with, some I don’t.
