Members of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 23 have requested assistance from Town Council with some sewer line issues. The Legion building, located on Brown Avenue, has been dealing with tree roots congesting the flow of the line. The existing by-laws requires the property owner to cover the cost of root clearance. The Legion, however, said that the trees thought to be causing the issue are on town property. They have asked the Town of Neepawa to examine the line and potentially cover the cost of clearing it. Council will examine the problem and see what can be done to alleviate the situation.
