Neepawa fall once again to Winkler

Issues on the power-play and penalty kill continue to hamper the efforts of the Neepawa Natives.  The club hit the road on Tuesday, Nov. 10 to play a game in Winkler against the Flyers. Neepawa was hoping to end a recent seven game losing streak. They’d find it a difficult challenge though, as they were competing against the Manitoba Junior Hockey League’s most offensively potent team.

Library archives are growing

Last year Prairie Crocus Regional Library was the recipient of a grant from Rivers & Area Community Foundation to begin an archival materials project. The goal of this project is to organize and preserve the history of Rivers and our community. To this end, a room in the library (upstairs) has been reserved as the place where our history will be preserved, organized and available for the public to view.
